German Herlein

German Herlein has shared the stage with musicians such as Jorge Pasquali, Manu Katché and Rick Zunigar —one of his teachers, without knowing who he was— with whom he also collaborated on tours and masterclass translations. He translated masterclasses and interviews with artists including John Stowell, Mike Stern, Scott Henderson and John Scofield.

In 2007 he toured Argentina with Rick Zunigar, sponsored by the Musicians Institute (Hollywood, CA). That same year he received the gift of Mike Stern's Yamaha guitar, a gesture he always remembers with gratitude and surprise.

His YouTube channel features collaborations with artists from around the world, including Manu Katché, Rick Zunigar, Juanjo Hermida, Jivan Gasparyan Jr., Yuji Nakagawa, Andreas Bernitt, Josh Doughty, Tore Brunborg and many others.

German plays a LOUZAO Smallman (Greg) guitar, built especially for him by legendary luthier Ricardo Louzao, with whom he collaborated on his book La Guitarra Mágica.
